1782 Hard Disk Controller Failure - POST-

I have a COMPAQ DeskPRO 6000 EN series 6266 computer. When I BOOT I get a POST error 1782 Hard Disk Controller Failure. This of course will not allow it to Boot. If I get a UDMA/66/100 Disk Controller Card will this alleviate my problem. Any feedback would be appreciated, especially from another person that has a COMPAQ DeskPRO 6000 EN.

Hi benjamin25 welcome to CyberTechHelp.

You will have to start your own thread (question). You find the appropriate forum and use the New Thread button.
This is birdlinski's thread and birdlinski's question. Asking questions in another members thread detracts attention away
from birdlinski and their issues.

birdlinski , you have posted two different threads with the same question, this thread and this other one
here ---> http://www.cybertechhelp.com/forums/...ead.php?t=4155
Since your being helped there I am closing this thread.
