Computer restarts while playing a game...
My computer always restarts about 45-75 seconds into the popular game "Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 40" I turned off all backround programs and put all graphic and sound options to "low" or "off" but it still doesen't work. Specs listed below:
Windows Xp Professional AMD Athalon 1.2 GHz 512Mb DDR RAM. 9200 ATI Radeon (128mb) The System Requirements for the game are (taken directly from the website) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- System Requirements:
These chipsets are the only ones that will run this game. Additional chipsets may be supported after release. For an up-to-date list of supported chipsets, please visit the FAQ for this game on our support website at: http://support.ubi.com. NOTICE: This game contains technology intended to prevent copying that may conflict with some DVD-RW and virtual drives. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I tried a (legal) no-dvd program but still the same thing happens. The weird thing is I can play games normally on High/Medium graphics like "Half-Life 2","Star Wars:Galaxies", "Everquest 2", and "Doom 3". Help would be appreciated. Yeah, that's weird. I have Battlefield 1942 and whenever I beat the first mission it restarts my computer. You might want to go to BiA help site if you don't get success here.
