On the computer tower theres 4 lights, and symbols across from each one, I know the top one means it powered up but on the one underneath it, its got a cylinder shape symbol,What does this one mean?, and what does it mean if it is blinking?

Howdy:

That usually stands for your harddrive and the blinking means it is working (it is accessing something)..

Murray's right. On your audio problem, check and make sure that you have the most up to date drivers for your sound card. Utilize EVEREST to determine your card if need be.

OK, I had computers that had a TURBO button on them! Does that mean that they were supercharged? Sorry to tag on this, but it just struck a funny bone.

In the old days, the turbo button was used to operate the latest software, and normal was used to run the old slower programs, if they wouldn't run in turbo.
