Apple Engadget has picked up on some news that Apple will be holding a special media event on July 7th, invites have supposedly been given out but fail to indicate where the event will occur and what will be happening during it. That certainly leaves us plenty of room for speculation, here comes the rumors. One of the announcements is believed to be the release of iTunes 4.9 (Engadget - AppleInsider) with podcasting support. Another possibility may be the announcement of new iPods, either second-generation iPod shuffles or fifth-generation iPods, or both.
