AOL's drunken, cash burning trip from god of the Internet -- to stumbling broadband provider -- to second fiddle advertising engine continues. Yes, everyone considered Netscape dead already, but Techdirt notes that the development of the browser had continued at AOL in some rudimentary capacity until today, when the Netscape blog posted an alert stating that support for the browser is over, which means the browser is officially, 100%, absolutely dead.
