I for one would like to say a word of appreciation and thanks to the moderators who help so many people on this forum. I would also like to remind all you people who post your urgent problems on any of the forums that it only takes a minute to say "thank you" to the person who helps you resolve your problem. I know how very frustrating it is to follow a problem until it is (presumably) resolved and then have the person who posed the problem disappear without any acknowledgement of having been helped. Think how you would feel is you had invested your time and your expertise in helping someone and they didn't even say "thank you." - jayt

The 2005 MVP Global Summit will be hosted this week by Microsoft. The summit will be attended by some of the most global and technological diverse awardees ever in the 12-year history of the program. The event will allow more than 1500 Microsoft MVPs (Most Valuable Professionals) to meet with peers from over 70 different countries as well as over 1000 Microsoft employees from the product field and service teams.
There are also some new award categories at the summit such as Microsoft Dynamics and MSN and new countries including Romania, Jamaica, Pakistan and Thailand. The summit provides employees that are representing more than 90 technologies with an opportunity to connect with experts within the community and at the same time celebrating their technical passion and willingness to help others.
"The MVP Global Summit is a unique opportunity for Microsoft to embrace and celebrate this inspirational community, Ballmer said. As part of our ongoing commitment to this group of incredible individuals, the summit enables Microsoft to show our appreciation to the MVPs for their passion for technology and helping others.
