DIGIT LIFE reviews the Albatron PX915-2V motherboard which is based on the i915P chipset. It is one of the cheapest SLI card with an Intel chipset out there - no ULI/Nvidia. It is of a mATX format with four DIMM slots. The PC Chips M985G - certainly not the best in its category - outperforms the Albatron model by up to 10%. Not much worth in there as well when it comes to other specs like 5.1 audio and fast ethernet rather than GbE.
IT-Review tests the Crossfire vs. SLI in a Radeon Express 3200 flavoured article. ATI can match Nvidia as far as technology and performance are concerned but ATI still has to catch Nvidia when it comes to pricing. There are more than a few tweaks that must be done to the cards. IT review was unable to run two ordinary X1900XTX cards in Crossfire.
