View Full Version : Critical Error With Kernel-Power

July 30th, 2015, 10:03 PM
So im trying to fix my dads computer, every now and then it will shutdown and restart with an error. It happens often when the computer goes to sleep I think because when we come back from not using it for a while and the monitor comes on the error is there. Ive been waiting for it to happen again so I could show you the error but of course its not happening :-). However, i found the error in the event viewer (The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly: EVENT ID 41, TASK CATEGORY 63) and could use some help troubleshooting as I am unfamiliar with this problem. The best I can find on google is that it might be a driver issue.
