Until today when my daughter came home from school, I didn`t know half the progs installed on the computer. She then asked where microsoft excel was, as she needs to do pye charts. Apparently it`s not there or I`m looking in the wrong place. I thought I was buying a multimedia p.c or does that prog not normally come with it. Microsoft word is there but I can`t seem to find excel.

that program comes with microsoft office or works its a differant progam then windows, if you need them for daughters school work then i would suggest works, a much smaller program then office.
and if you have words more than likely you have one or the other there and excel wasnt installed, run the setup disk and install it

Hey,

Excel normally comes with the M$Office cd. I don't think down here it comes with Works.

Works is a terrible cd man !! Everything on there is a cut down version of what it's supposed to be.

I can't help but think that PC companies only include it with their PC packages to fill them out a bit.

Seems like nowadays it's very hard to buy a PC that doesn't come with it.

The Small Business Edition of Office is a good cheap alternative to the Full Office version which is pretty expensive.

But you don't get M$Access http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/frown.gif
