Try to get into the BIO's Setup.
DO NOT mess with the setings.

Now move the Lid/Screen up and down(Open & Close), as well as move the whole laptop around.

If you loose the screen display, then you have some sort of mechanical failure with the wiring to the screen.
{Send it back, and ask for a replacement.}

If it is fine, and doesn't blank out the screen.
The issue maybe a flaky video driver.
Try installing the latest video driver from Lenovo, or from AMD.
If this started when you updated the video driver.
Roll back the video driver to the previous version and see if that resolves it.

I'll look on some tech forums also, and see if anyone has had this issue as well.
