like so many on this thread, your post has resolved my installation problem, which I was stuck with for a few days now. I have registered on this forum just to sincerely thank you for your inputs.

I also wanted to ask... After I complete the installation and start using Windows XP should I turn back the SATA Operation to AHCI ? do let me know ...
