Error: Cannot connect to the real www.google.com

I keep getting this message on my Windows XP computer. This is just a computer used for the kids to play games on and has not been even turned on for a very long time, so not sure when this started or anything...
This is the error:

Cannot connect to the real www.google.com

Something is currently interfering with your secure connection to www.google.com.

I tried to just google the error and see what could be the issue, but everyone says to check your date & time, but mine seems to be right. I even made sure and updated it and restarted the computer, but still am getting the message. I also tried the "CLEANUP!" program and deleted all the junk files, but again didnt work.

Any help would be appreciated!! I get the error on a few different sites and one happens to be the one my daughter wants to play on for school (ixl.com)

Hi Heather,

Have you check the settings of your browser? Possibly, The settings may be changed by kid while playing games. or might be some malware program that interfering the connection.

It will be great if you share the screenshot.
