Your Husband and yourself share this computer? But only you have these issues?

What are you doing when the system crashes please? Is there any pattern?

sorry not replied but had to forward the email to my husbands so i could open it.
Can you explain? Are you not able to access your email account? Any information is helpful. First hand observations are great clues.

Yes I can access my emails but when it comes from you i click the link to open the email and then the blue screen comes up. . I am generally just surfing the net and going from page to page and then it crashes or locks up. Or get the blue screen. I turn the pc back on and then sometimes it goes through the chkdsk procedure or just boots up normal.

We can clean up some older software. But I think you have a problem with either your video drivers or possibly a hardware issue.

See if you are able to sign into Safe mode with networking and click an email link, or something else which would normally cause a system crash. Let me know please.

If you need help signing into Safe Mode vwith networking, here's how:

Restart the computer.
Begin tapping the F8 key on your keyboard. Do so until the Windows Advanced Options menu appears.

Using the arrow keys on the keyboard, select Safe mode with networking and then press Enter.

You've had that error before. Was tis a full system crash? And were you in Safe
mode with networking or regualr windows? Iam trying too determine what might be the problem and need to know if everything works in Safe
mode swith networking. Or if, in fact, the same crashes happen in Safe Mode with networking.

Here's why. Many drivers and applications which load in regular windows do not load in Safe mode with networking. So if you can use the computer withuut incident in one mode, but not the other, we can try to pinpoint the issue and attribute it to a certain driver or application. Otherwise, it may be a hardware issue. But to do this, we have to have you run the system in Safe Mode with Networking and give exact feedback on what happens in that mode.
