Most Apps Will Not Work: Win 7/Pro System

My system has a pair of WD Raptor 150's in RAID-1 as the system/data drive on my EVGA 780i MoBo, and a pair of Seagate 1TB drives, also in RAID-1, as the data drive.

Recently, one of the system drives failed and the RAID for "C" was broken. Confirmed failure with a "SMART" test. Filled out RMA form on-line on the WD website on Labor Day and got the replacement drive on Thursday. Up and running with all files restored and the RAID "healthy" in a couple of days (I did a bunch of backups first!).

Now both RAIDs are healthy; however, only a few programs will execute. All of the 64-bit programs seem to launch OK (Windows Explorer 64, and Adobe Photoshop CS4). Others just don't respond to a double mouse click. I'm able to open the Windows Explorer, but when I double click on, for example, a MS Word file, I get the following message: "There was a problem sending the command to the program"

Any ideas?

It might be a problem with the shortcuts websquad. Open Windows Explorer and drill down to the executable of one of the programs you cant open, doubleclick on it and let us know if it will open now.
