VERY sorry but this isn't going to get answered by a MS shill

Could I please get help from someone who is NOT
a shill for Microsoft?

Here is the situation.

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit.
Windows Media Player Version 12.0.7601.24312
Chrome browser
HP p6710f desktop
Audacity 2.3.0

Created many MP3 audio files with Audacity, saved the to desktop, but for a variety of reasons,
renamed them within the desktop file folder several times.

They all play inside WMP fine, except that suddenly when I try to open them, they will not list as renamed, they list inside WMP as the junk names I changed long ago.

What I want is fairly simple: FORCE WMP to display these tracks as they are named now ad files inside the desktop.

Without this I cannot arrange them and burn them.

Should not be this hard. Have performed a Google search, and evidently this problem is incredibly common, and there is NO SOLUTION.

I am sorry to repost this issue, but the only "answer" I got elsewhere was some shill for Microsoft trying to blame this on Audacity.

Why don't you Google: Free computer help forums, and go to some of them, and post your questions with your nasty attitude, and see what they tell you?
You joined this forum less than a month ago, and have received numerous responses to your questions, but you're not happy with all the FREE help you have received, and now you are insulting people so why don't you move on?

Hopefully a Moderator here will help you move on.
