Delete emails

Hi I don't know how to delete all emails in my gmail. There are over 100. So far I've done one at a time. Can you help. I want to delete them all at once.

Thankyou
Pat

Go to your Gmail account here....

https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox

At the top left of each page (Inbox, Trash, Sent, Drafts, etc.) you should see a little "empty" box, hitting that with your cursor will highlight (adding check mark next to each email) all mails for deleting. Just keep doing that until all the emails in that Folder are deleted. Then go to the Trash folder, where you can delete all of them in just two clicks.

Be aware that unless you have a good reason, there is no need to delete emails from Gmail, the available storage space is huge, for example I have over 8000 emails in my account. Keeping them there is a way to retain a record of message which may prove useful years hence when you need to reconstruct something from the information in them.

No. I have to delete the junk folder because there are 2 junk folders. They are conflicting with each other in My outlook email in my tablet.when I try to delete one folder all it does is spin and says genrating. I have to reboot, because it just keeps spinning, and I can't do nothing else on my tablet.

Thankyou
Pat

You did not answer the question I had in your other thread on which Outlook you are using, it makes A BIG DIFFERENCE. Can we assume this is GMail your talking about duplicate folders.

Are you seeing Junk mail at the top then at the bottom on the left side?

I'm not trying to get rid of the emails. I know how to delete emails. What I need to do is eliminate one of the junk folders. There are 2 junk folders in my outlook email. Microsoft keeps saying there is a conflict with both folders being there. I don't know how 2 junk folders got on my email. It won't let me rename the folder or delete the folder, so that I have only one junk folder. How can I send you a picture of it?

Thankyou
Pat

Since your using GMail, it does not play well with Outlook.com. Gmail was meant to be used through your browser.

Using GMail with outlook.com it should be setup as IMAP

Here are some good setup tips.
