Might be Phoenix, but to be sure you should contact Lenovo.

[Windows 7/Vista]

Click Start, click Programs(click All Programs in Windows 7), click Accessories, click System Tools and then click System Information.
- or -
Click Start, type msinfo32 in the Start Search box and then click msinfo32 in the Programs list.
On the "System Information" window, make sure System Summary is selected in the left side of the window.
Locate the BIOS version/date line in the right side of the window. "LENOVO BIOS ID (BIOS version), date" will be shown.

Lenovo BIOS

Hi, yes, I have managed to find the manufacturer's name of the BIOS and version.
However, I am still lost about what to do with it, as the notebook does not allow me to enter into its BIOS
Thanks again.

IOS Utility is entered by holding F2 while the ThinkPad logo is displayed after power on. With the unit powered off, hold the F1 key and power the unit on. Keep F1 held down until Easy setup appears. Note: On the TP 701, you can also access the Configuration area on BIOS by pressing the Fn+F1 keys.

Which is basically the link IPR512 gave you.

Why are you looking to install BIOS? Update? Having Problems?
