Only hit one Microsoft site that had a poster with a similar problem, but they never posted back. One of the suggestions of the site for them was to uninstall their graphics driver, then install the HP website graphics driver to replace it. Graphics of course may be related to your current problem. I used a Gateway recovery drive to reinstall Windows once, and the recovery installed an Intel graphic driver on a computer that has an AMD graphics driver. What a bear to figure out.
