hard disk not connected error.

hello, can anyone here pls help me. i tried to make a partition but it didnt go what i wanted so canceled the partition and turn off my pc the next morning when i tried to turn my pc on i got this error cant boot to hard disk, hard disk not connected press any key to continue.... please help me.

Well if trying to partition and you accidentally erased the C: partition then that is why it will not boot. The oprating system is gone.

Reboot the computer and get into BIOS SETUP. each computer is different usually the first screen tells you what key to hit to get into SETUP.

Generally the DEL key but could be one of the "F" keys, make and model of the computer or laptop would help.

How were you trying to partition, using a program? If so which one> Or within Windows?
