AVG wont update

I've tried a few times today and AVG still wont update, the only error message I get is the basic one, saying make sure your connected, go to AVG.com and so on. It updated just fine a couple of days ago, but today it wont. Any ideas?

Uninstall AVG & download & reinstall. I've also found at times if your computer is busy doing something AVG won't update..

Are you running a firewall? It may be blocking it, check to make sure AVG upgrade site is excluded.

My auto AVG update has been acting weird lately also, though when updated manually, it works fine.

My AVG has been having brief psychotic episodes, too. It seems to be able to update itself about every other day. On alternate days, I update it manually. That usually works on the first try, sometimes I have to try it again a few hours later.

I just figured Grisoft's servers are getting overloaded...for whatever reason.

I also figure that since it's free, I can handle the minor inconvenience.

Okay. Thanks. Hopefully it will download tommarow, otherwise I'll try again in another hour or so. I tried about an hour ago and throughout the day, but just not updating like it normally would when it didn't update the first time around.

I have been having the same problems.

Today I went in and updated fine.

It's been doing this the last few days-must be something with them and not my computer since I seem to have company with this.
