Acrobat 9 Standard

I am attempting to edit a pdf document on my Win 7 computer using Acrobat 9 Standard. I want to change an image/picture. However, on the tools tab/advanced editing tabs there is no selection to choose edit an image. How can I remove an old picture/image in the pdf and insert a new image?

I'm still using Adobe Acrobat 7 so I don't know if it works the same as yours.
Up at the top where it says FILE EDIT VIEW DOCUMENT you might want to click on DOCUMENT, and then click on the page where the image is that you want to replace. After that Delete the page, and then insert the new page where the image is that you want.
Not sure if that's what you're trying to do, because I've never worked with images in PDFS.
Let us know if that helps or not.

I don't have Acrobat 9 installed any longer.

But in Acrobat 10, it's under View > Tools > Content > Edit Object

Then click the image

If it's a MS Word document just open it in Word and then under File click Save As, and then scroll down to PDF.
