Windows does not start it blue screens

When I start my computer it tries to load Windows XP, but it does not load. It goes to a blue screen that says something about the file savrt.sys.

It says: driver_unloaded_without_cancelling_pending_operati ons

Stop: 0x000000CE {0xED625C58, 0x00000000, 0xED625C58, 0x00000000}

When I start Windows in Safe Mode, I get an error message that says:

Windows--Corrupt File

The file or directory C:\System Volume Information\_restore{202550A8-7A33-4BCA-9586-051D24DDBF8F}\RP808\change.log is corrupt and unreadable. Please run the Chkdsk utility.

I can't get past the blue screen and I can't get past the error message in safe mode.

Please help!!!
