Question How to edit text in PDF files whose system font is not available?

I have a PDF file here which I want to edit but unfortunately the parts I want to edit I get this message "All or part of the selection has no available system font. You cannot add or delete text using the currently selected font." The font it is showing is @Batang. I tried to change it but it alters the complete layout so I am askin for help here as I am a total newbie with PDF files.

If installing the font will solve the problem, you can download the Batang font from the link on this page.

Did not work. When I tried to change the font selection, Acrobat said "Touchup cannot add requested font to the document". I can email someone the file if he/she can help me with it. The font name properties display is "@Batang" and not just "Batang".

had same problem and figured out solution!!!

in my situation it wasnt letting me switch to any other font at all since the settings were totally incompatible...

1) i downloaded amd installed font

2) using touchup tool and properties i switched the font to the installed one (in my case it had a slightly different name because of a comma and maybe it would otherwise "switch" automatically)-- because it was actually the exact same font it had no problem switching

PROBLEM SOLVED!!!! I was now able to edit the text with the touchup tool!

good luck
