Windows Task Manager

Does anyone know how many processes are acceptable to be running when you start your computer? I have around 45 and it seems like a lot to me. I'm not sure what they all are so I don't want to end...

Yes it has worked before....but it has been at least 6 months, maybe longer since I have tried it. It's not something I needed to use- until now of course!
