Lock the kid out of your PC
When you get this sorted, and i'm sorry i don't have the answer. You must lock the ankle biter out of the PC.... Father off 2 myself and you have to do it..:rotflmao:

Thanks, i'll give this a try. It could be something like that. The monitor is a couple of years old and was bought with a package deal. I never noticed this problem when it was ran by the old tower...

Blow is best.
Vacuuns can cause static build ups. If you insist on using it dissconnect your power lead, groung yourself to the casing and be careful.

Driver problem???
I had something similar. I'd installed Fx550 graphics card and messed with the settings. A member of this site told me to unistall the driver for the graphics card and reinstall it. It worked for me....

Reset cmos
Do you have your motherboard manual? In there it should tell you where a reset jumper is located. Move the jumper across then back with the power off.

You could have blown dust where it shouldn't be.. ensure you ground yourself first. Take out all your major components one by one and clean them paying most attention to the contacts.....
