Yup. My local shop only carries cheap power supplies with 18amp rails, or else they expect you to pay $300 for a kilowatt unit. I think I'll end up ordering one off of ncix.com, I saw some 600-700w...

So when the shutdowns first started, that was probably my psu no longer being capable of supplying those 20 amps, and maybe only producing 17. When I was running real temp it would show gpu load...

I have the OCZ700GSX, which is GameXstream...
I have the OCZ700GSX, which is GameXstream whatever that means. It's still 18A on all 3 12v rails. My processor is an E6750 1066fsb/2.66ghz. the site lists e6700 as compatible but not 6750...

Tried removing extra devices (3 case fans, 1 hdd, sound card, network card) to see if it made a difference, I initially lasted long enough...
