Port 80 is HTTP and that'll stop any browser activity. Port 21 is usually FTP, can vary from server to server. There's usually no need to block Telnet unless y'all have a particularly savy user....

one motherboard i have had the same problem but XP ran fine. Then i found a bios upgrade and that fixed the error.

i think you'll haqve to load that utility at startup for the correction to activate at startup. See if there's a program for the Vid adapter in the Programs menu.

Well first you'll need an OS (Like DOS) on a FAT partition. DOS will load from floppy. then connect a null modem serial cable. DOS has Interlnk and Intersrv that will connect the computers easily....

I think in this case you'll have to bite the bullet and get a new sound card. Lots of hardware doesn't work with XP.

Yep. Lots of folks have USB problems with XP. If you know the motherboard manufacturer look at their web site for updated USB drivers.
