Hum its possible but I think infact I'm pretty sure that "blaster worm" is supposed to reboot the computer not shut it down. Any one has any suggestions. I fixed atleast 500 computers with this...

Unplug the hard drive and then try to use the floppy drive see if it boots up with that floppy or not. If not try creating a new floppy, it just might be bad trust me I have seen it plenty of times....

K, before you replace the NIC, tell us if you are using a router. If you are can you ping the router from your computer? is your computer getting an IP addy? Try pinging your loop back address too...

Hum sounds like you might have a bad hard drive. Try running some kind of hard drive diagnostic program on it and see what comes up. There is a great tool that I use all the time and it works great...

Use a Router

Hum I'm surprised this day and age this was a pretty simple question. If you want to network three computers simply use a linksys or Dlink Router. Wired or Wireless depending what you need.
