uninstalling IE9

I installed IE9 yesterday and it takes forever for my homepage to come up. How do I uninstall it so I can go back to IE8?

Question how to stop windows auto hover

When I move my mouse over almost anything a box appears for that item. This is a PITA and I'd like to disable it but do not know how. can anyone help me?

I'd like to eliminate any unnecessary programs running in the background or that are automatically started when windows opens. Can anyone supply me a list of how to proceed?

somewhere along the way I set my mouse to scroll more lines per scroll than I wanted, but can't figure out how to go back to the previous setting. Can anyone help me with this?
