i have a toshiba l655 laptop, runs hot at 80 c then shuts down..whenever I run e.g., mdsched.exe (windows memory diagnostic), and also av software.

i am using speedfan. Does not show if fan is on, no fan stats.

Can't connect to net, with u-verse
I have a toshiba laptop running windows vista.
running dsl with att, then switched over to u-verse yesterday, and cannot connect out to the net.
only way out to the net is with an ethernet cable....
