Other than buying a new mobo, does anyone know if an adapter exists to be able to use a PCIe x4 device on a mobo that only has PCIe x1?

The woes of cloning to SSD's

Hello.

I'm a computer tech and due to the significant decrease in cost of SSD's, I've been upgrading a lot of computers to a ssd. The issue is, the dismal results in trying to clone to a ssd.
