Welcome to CTH

Can be caused by many things.
  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click the System icon.
  3. Click the Device Manager tab.
Under Network Devices does it show you network card? Is there a yellow or red mark next to it? If so you need to reinstall the driver.

In control panel double click on the Network ICON, does it show you connection???

Start | RUN type in

command

At the flashing cursor type in the following:

winipcfg

It should show HOST, DNS and IP does it? If not and all of the above is ok then type the following:

winipcfg /release (hit <enter>)

winipcfg / renew (hit <enter>)

winipcfg (hit <enter>)

Does it show up now??
