Set the computer to boot from the HD as the first option in the BIOS;
or see this article from Microsoft; http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=330141

Howdy and welcome to CTH:

How old is the system as your problem is symptomatic of a dead or dying CMOS battery..

Try changing it out, reset your BIOS and then see how it goes..

New to this board

Hello, I have the exact same problem and the link provided by uripyores does seem to be working. I already set all boot devices to boot the HD and still same problem. Also this is on a laptop with no disk drives of any kind.

For 98 & 95
If the previous doesn't help try this other article from Microsoft.
