Windows Keep Shrinking

Whenever I leave my PC for 5 minutes or so, the (W10) Windows shrink to almost half the size that I have them set, which is that they are "stretched" (not Maximized) to the size of the whole screen. Is there any way of stopping this without "Maximizing" the window/s?

I have never heard of this problem before. Very strange. Sadly, we know nothing of your hardware except this is a PC.

When did this problem start?

Are your graphics drivers current? If me, I would uninstall your current drivers then reboot and see what happens. If still not good, check to see if more current graphics drivers are available.

I found several cases of black borders/shrinking screen, but none happened when letting your computer go idle for a few minutes.

This may help, but I really am at a loss here.

Well for me the text just keeps getting smaller and fuzzier - not the window itself!

Thanks for the replies, and I am sorry for not replying sooner!
Nope, I ain't seeing things from all the beer, what could possibly make you think that, ya cheeky so 'n so! Refreshing the page does nothing (it also does this with my Thunderbird program, and I'm not sure if that can be refreshed). If I shut down my browser/email program and open them again, they still stay at the "shrunken" size.
Digerati, I have uninstalled the graphics driver and re-booted, but the problem is still happening. I have had a look at the link you posted, but to be honest I am a little weary about making any changes that's being suggested. Below is the Graphics info' given through the Speccy program that I have, copy/pasted....

Intel UHD Graphics 630
Manufacturer Intel
Model UHD Graphics 630
Device ID 8086-3E92
Subvendor HP (103C)
Current Performance Level Level 0
Driver version 25.20.100.6446
Count of performance levels : 1
Level 1 - "Perf Level 0"

There is a later driver out for your video:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/126790

Try downloading, it is a *EXE file called igx_win10_100.7000.exe

Once downloaded double click on the file to install.

Thanks for helping, Murf.
I downloaded and proceeded to install the .exe file in the page you provided, but it came up with an error saying something along thee lines of "your computer is not compatible with yada yada yada". So I then went back to the Intel page, and prompted it to do an automatic installation, that came up stating that my computer is up to date. (message shown below). I then kept my browser and Thunderbird open while leaving the computer for 15 minutes. When I returned both programs were shrunk again.

Lets try this:

Download this file to your desktop

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers...eries/19390524

Click on "X" All Drivers then scroll down to Driver-Graphis (4)

Click + sign then click on Intel High-Definition (UHD) Graphics Driver (Windows 10 v1809) Download, if asked download manually.

Note: If you did recently upgrade to Win 10 version 1903 then you would get that driver.

How to tell:
Start>Settings>System>About under Device specifications>System Type. Under Windows specifications you will see which version you have will be 1803 or 1809..

Ok so now you have the driver on your desktop, so now need to get into Device Manager and uninstall your current Graphic Drivers.

Windows logo key + R then type devmgmt.msc and hit <enter>

Located and double click on Display adapters

Click on Uninstall in the pop up window

Do not reboot and Windows will just reinstall it.

Now double click on the file you downloaded to install then reboot.

I apologize again for the delay in working on this and replying. Unfortunately after going through your instructions Murf, I am still having the same problem. I now have the browsers (Chrome/Slimjet) and Thunderbird set at Maximized, and when the PC is left for several minutes they don't shrink., so i may just have to leave them like that.
