dead digitus dn7017 router
I have digitus router model dn7017,but there is a problem.
When i get in to the servis menu (192.168.2.1) everything was in german and i don't understand german. Soo i gone to their site and i downloaded the fresh firmwire AND i aslo managed to find the firmwire menu. but there goes the problem.when i "upload" the firmwire to router the progerss bar was acting but in about 30 seconds site disconnected.soo firmwire was inturrupted. when i tried to connect again, dead.router didn't work. here is the link to the original site http://www.digitus.info/scripts/digd...D7017&grafik=1 Soo is there a software to fix the firmwire problem ? (becouse servis menu doesn't work) or its ready for my trash... or maybe it could fly form my window.... |

I never install firmware over the net for just that reason. If the connection is lost for whatever reason it can be bad. You may be able to download that routers firmware and if you can TFTP into the router go ahead and try to install the new firmware, however sometimes this does not work and well the router becomes a useless device.

You can use something like solarwinds tftp and the ip you would need to "try" an conenct to would be the routers default ip "example 192.168.1.1"
