Server constantly beeps
I have a server that has started a constant beep and never quits. I see no brand or model on the server, it is probably built by someone from a local shop. One of the power supplies was bad and I replaced it but it still beeps and never quits. I see no red or yellow lights on anything. It's running a bunch of security cameras on windows 7. The power supplies were redundant and that was not causing the beeps. I see no hardware diagnostic program on the computer either. Any suggestions?

Go get http://www.piriform.com/speccy Speccy (from the makers of CCleaner).
Run it on the computer to find out the Manufacturer & Model Mother Board you have. Then go to the Mother Board Manufacturer website, and see if you can down load the Manual for it. Once you have the Mother Board's Manual, you can see if it has Beep Codes listed, and what they mean. Signed: Ensign Tzap |
