Even though there are many web browsers available I prefer firefox. Specially for the extensions available in for Firefox.The most important extensions which I need are mentioned below:
1)Firebug
2)Auto Fill
3)Fire FTP
4)Google Translator
5)Rank Checker

an old thread still going.

Since the thread has started I have had several addons that I could not live without and the list has changed. For the past year or so my list is as follows

adblock plus
adblock popup
adblock elements
last pass
xmarks

They are the ones that gets installed on all of my computers in all browsers I have installed that is compatible. The addon I miss the most is permatabs. It was the best - too bad it is no longer in existence.

Addblock popup is good but it has its demerits. It disallows google ads also and some times the adds which really have good deals for you like of amazon's.

op, my favorite three of all time have got to be noscript, livehttpheaders and developer tools, endlessly useful for me. noscript can be somewhat annoying sometimes since it makes some sites be totally screwed up, but it definitely makes you more anonymous on the net. i like user styles too, if you are on a site where you just want to strangle whoever designed it you can write your own css and make it look way better in like five minutes, its awesome.
