16 bit MS DOS & Rundll32 error

After I used Pestpatrol I keep getting the following messages, The first one is when I click to open some programs, "16 Bit MS- Dos C:\Windows\System32\command.com C:\windows\system32AutoEXEC.NT The system file is not suitable for running MS-Dos and microsoft windows applications. Chose close to terminate the application. (You can also choose ignore but that doesn't work can't open program.

The other Error message is,Everytime I log off / shut down my pc (Windows XP) a message pops up saying Rundll32.exe is not responding. I have to click "end task" to shut down.

Thanks,
Richie
