Naughty Tiger

Probably all heard, but maybe not you from the US. After the Masters finished, Tiger Woods was interviewed live on BBC TV and Radio and he said this:

Quote:
"I putted atrociously," Woods said. "As good as I hit it, that's as bad as I putted. Once I got on the green, I was a spaz."
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh .

In the UK it is a derogatory term. Short for Spastic.

Yes, there are some really accurate definitions of spaz on there..(NOT)

What is he on about?!?!

Still, seriously, sort of a bad example to set to all the little kids who look up to him.

That's why it is called the Urban Dictionary.. so, in keeping with that.. no need to have a spaz about what Tiger said..

Considering "ain't" is in the dictionary now as a slang term, spaz is exactly the same.. slang..

"ain't" isn't an offensive word though, "spaz" is an insult to sufferers of cerebral palsy.

Political Correctness monitor are we tom_36?

Saying Tiger can't call himself a spaz is almost as bad as the Black Eyed Peas having to edit "Let's Get Retarded" into "Let's Get It Started" for radio.

It isn't taken like that in the U.S. I had no idea that spastic referred to people with cerebral palsy, neither did Tiger, neither did anyone else in the states for that matter, because if they did, it would've been all over the place. Trust me, in the U.S. the media waits like vulcher's for things like that, and no one made a sound.

Maybe he meant this.. That he was clumsy and uncoordinated putting !!!!!

"short for spastic - derogatory term attributed to a person who has trouble controlling his or her limbs, a clumsy bugger

I don't want to go jogging thanks, I'd rather not look like a spazzy baboon"
