Lightbulb Windows security updates
Hi I'm trying to download the April Windows Security updates but I can't and keep getting a message that in order to "I must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the administrators group".

I don't understand because I'm on my personal computer and not on a network of any kind.

Any suggestions on how to download the Window Security updates?

See if the Microsoft Knowledge Base article, "Administrators only" error message when you attempt to use the Windows Update site is any help.

looks like this may be the solution
Thanks Miz. This is the reference for exactly what is wrong - I will try their fix and see what happens.
