Can someone pls explain to me how i can fix this error -
I have Windows NT originally in my machine, then I upgrade to Windows 2000 prof. After finished upgrade, I receive the following message Winlogon.exe - Unable to locate DLL The dynamic link library TXFAUX.DLL could not be found in the specified path. c:\winnt\system32, c:\winnt\system, c:\winnt\system32\wbem, There is more to this message, basically the paths of WINNT and SYSTEM32 Here are the steps I took I tried SFC /SCANNOW and reboot the system and the error message still come up. I ran "regsvr32 txfaux.dll" and received this message loadLibrary "txfaux.dll" failed - the specified module could not be found |

Get it working by copying
c:\winnt\servicePackFile\i386\txfaux.dll to c:\winnt\system32 sfc /scannow won't fix it. An update has caused the problem and this is the only way I have found to fix it. |
