Irritating problem with Explorer.exe
Hello,
I am having a very irritating problem with windows xp, After logging on XP everything hangs for 4-5 minutes, in that times nothing works, I can't run program or access start menu, I tried alt+ctrl+del but taskmanager also dosen't open, and when it is open for some seconds IT SHOWS THAT the Process EXPLORER.EXE is taking over 90% of PROCESSOR & the whole taskbar is behaving differently there are two language bars, and very little space for application windows After that everything seems absolutely fine and computer runs as smooth as ever, This problem persists even after formatting of C:\ & reinstalling of XP, on the other hand I also have Win98 which runs without any problem, and SimplyMepis3.3 also runs well, so what is the problem with XP. After several failures I also opened computer and checked for hardware problem and did regular servicing and reinstalled one more time but problem's still there. PC's configuration 2GHz, P4, 845G, 80GB HDD C:= WinXP D:= Win98 and SimplyMepis 3.3, TV Tuner and LAN card.
