whats better? AVG or Avast

yeh im sure this question must have been talked about a long time ago.. is it just me or does Avast freeware that aint really free!!

Hi there,
I've been using AVG Free for like year & half.

I have been attacked by viruses over 9 times & it has detected & deleted those viruses, so my machine is still clean even when I checked in symantec's or panda's online scan.
