Question re install of Works Suite 2001
I'm installing Microsoft Works Suite 2001 in a new computer, and though it's apparently completely installed, it's not letting me use Word until I enter the 25 digit product identification key.
The only problem is, that key is apparently on the back of the original box, which (thanks to a couple of moves and a clutter-hating wife) is long gone. Any ideas on how to remedy this? |

Howdy:
If you registered the product with Microsoft after the original install, you could try contacting them for a new key code.. May be difficult but worth a try.. If you didn't register the product, then you get to go out and buy another copy.. Murray |

If you still have the old computer, you can get your numbers from it, use belarc advisor but if you still have it on your old computer, then you would be violating microsofts eula so you need to delete it before installing new.
