green screen

My desktop pc is working just fine as far as I can tell. Besides that the screen has this green tint to it. This just happened, one day I started it up and the screen was green?? Help please.

Make sure the video cable is not loose (both at computer and at monitor)

I have tried to reset the computer, I mean the handbook said to disconnect all cords and hold the on button in for a minute. Then I reconnected all the cords and even tried to switch the direction of the vga cord. Still green. Could this have something to do with the video card. I hope my monitor is not going bad, it is a flat pannel, lcd.
