SuSe Linux

I am interested in learning about SuSe Linux but have some difficulty in understanding the basic concept of the Linux system. Maybe I have been using DOS/Windows too long and my brain will not switch over??

I have spoken to a number of people who use Linux but they explain things at a higher level then I understand and all I do is get more frustrated. I can see how the system works but I am missing something somewhere that is probably very basic that is causing me problems.

I live in Brisbane Australia (southside) is there anybody that I can talk to to get a basic understanding of this system?

LOL, I will admit that linux is on a "higher" Level, but you have not been with M$ products to long. No matter how long you have been using windows (Or apple in that matter), You can always switch. Just remember, everyone was a newbie once! As far as questions, just post them here. This form is VERY newbie friendly. So do not be affraid to ask.

Linux is about 'freedom of choice', it is about collaborating too. Linux do not try to enslave you in order to achieve obscene profits. It involves volunteers working in order to make computer technology affordable and readily available for everyone.

Even those not technically gifted can help translating some documentation, helping events organization, managing a website, showing friends Linux under work... imagination is the only limiting factor.

SuSE is one of those godly distros that can automatically repartition.
