RAM question

I've heard before that if you stick a 333 DDR stick of RAM with a 400 DDR stick the 400 DDR slows down to the 333 DDR speed. Now my question is this, does a regular 400 DDR stick slow down an overclocked 400 DDR stick?

Thanks!
