So far I've gotten the Init Display in BIOS to show AGP then went into safe mode and deleted my old display adapter and installed my card and it still wouldn't work, had to go back to my onboard and here I am again.

Usually in the BIOS: disable the on-board video and set it to initialise from the AGP slot.

I might have the same problem....in bios it just lets me set the video to onboard AGP, is that enough to disable the actual onboard video?

If the BIOS isn't that helpful you'll have to read the manual or visit the mobo's website I guess.
