Help Reformatting!
OS: Windows XP Home Edition
1 GB RAM CPU: Intel P 4, 2.4GHz MB: Asus P4s800D-X SATA AGP8X 800fb VC: Radeon 9250SE 128MB DDR HD: 80GB 7200RPM I want to reformat my partition. Simple enough. I follow the steps but when I get past the part where I choose whether I would like to repair, re-install, or run windows, I choose re-install and it says that I don't have a hard disk drive... which I do, obviously. How do I make it past this and actually get to the part where I choose which partition to reformat and do just that? Thanks for any ideas in advance. |

When you first run through setup you will see instructions that if you need a driver simply push F6 and you need to do that because with that board you need to add a sata driver. That mobo came with a floppy and if you have lost it, you can find the driver on Asus site and download it to a floppy for use.
