Google maps
Anyone here proficient in Google maps issues or is there somewhere else I can go other than google help which is slow and useless.

I cant update my business the message reads, 'This place has been claimed in Google Places and can only be edited by the owner"

Its not recognising me as its owner even though I am logged in? I wanted to update my email as it has changed.

Problem solved.
Go to Place page and then click on Owner verified listing at the top. It should come up with your business then click edit underneath it. Update any details of your listing there - it worked for me as I thought I was locked out. The only drawback is the 3 week wait for the code to come in mail unless you choose verification by phone.
